Frequently asked questions
Softub Canada has been manufacturing spas since 1990 for thousands of happy customers.
That means with simple care, you can expect to get many years of enjoyment, indoors or outdoors.
The Softub is made of soft, closed cell polyethylene foam, and is covered with Leathertex or Syntex, a marine grade vinyl with UV, mold and mildew protection.
The, cushioned foam is comfortable to sit on. In addition, it is very lightweight, which allows your Softub to be so portable, eliminating costly site preparation! The marine grade vinyl not only gives your Softub its beautiful exterior, but is also weather resistant, holding up in the most extreme environment.
The Softub Spa was designed to be the most energy-efficient spa on the market. An ingenious heat recovery system allows the Softub spa to stay hot and ready to enjoy – 24 hours a day. Depending on your use, climate, and temperature, electrical costs should average between $5 – $10 per month.
The spa water is heated using a patented heat recovery system, which uses waste heat from the motor to heat the water up to 104F.
