Maintenance and Warranty

Softub Canada employs a team of engineers that devote themselves to making the most comfortable, energy efficient and reliable spa on the market. Softub Canada is known not just for innovative design, but also for a high quality finished product. Each Softub spa is placed through a rigorous series of tests to ensure the best quality in the industry. According to Tom Thornbury, Softub Chairman of the Board and co-founder,

“Because of Softub’s commitment to quality, all major components are assembled in the Softub plant and put through an extensive inspection and testing before being placed in the Softub.” Even the marine-grade vinyl that covers the tub is fabricated, sewn, and heat-sealed in Softub’s vinyl factory to ensure that your Softub spa will last for years to come. All Softub Canada employees are proud to put their names on your product.

BUYERS GUIDE

Yes! The wall of the Softub was designed for sitting. To get in, simply sit on the edge and swing your feet over and into the water. The flat bottom eliminates hidden obstacles and is cushioned for your comfort and safety. For those with limited mobility, Softub hand rails and lid lifters can be purchased seperately.

All working components (thermostat, controls, pump, and heater) are located in the HydroMate. The separate Softub HydroMate was specifically designed so that it could be serviced on site – or easily transported to your nearest dealer.

The Softub design is perfect for those seeking home hydrotherapy! The 1.5 HP pump provides powerful jet action, while the soft, hot tub’s spacious interior allows freedom of movement for specific positioning needs.

Yes! Installing your Softub does not require special construction, trained crews, or equipment. Typically, a Softub can be set up by one person in about 15 minutes.

Any moderately level surface which can support 125 lbs per square foot is fine for a Softub hot tub. Wood decking, tile, brick, or similar surfaces are acceptable.

Simply set the thermostat control to the temperature of your liking. The Softub HydroMate will automatically monitor water temperature thereafter to heat the water as needed.

We suggest you drain and refill your Softub hot tub every three or four months. This is easily accomplished with a standard garden hose. We suggest the use of water treatment products and vinyl care products sold by your authorized Softub dealer.

The Softub hot tub was designed to be the most energy-efficient hot tub on the market. An ingenious heat recovery system allows the Softub hot tub to stay hot and ready to enjoy – 24 hours a day. Depending on your use, climate, and temperature, electrical costs should average just $5 – $10 per month. For more information on Softub’s ingenious heat recovery system, ask your Softub dealer.

Consult your owner’s manual for basic troubleshooting information or call your local Softub dealer. Softub dealers are factory-trained and certified to service the Softub product.
